Job Duplicator Add-on Support
This add-on helps you duplicate an existing job’s details into a new job, making it easy to manage repeat tasks without manually re-entering information. Here’s what will be copied from the original job:
- Company Details
- Job Address
- Billing Address
- Job Description
- Status (Set to “Quote” on the new job)
- Billing (optional)
- Work done description
- Job materials and items
- Job Contacts (optional)
- Job contact
- Billing contact
- Job-Specific Checklists (optional)
- Any checklists assigned to the original job, including task assignments and requirements
How to Duplicate a Job in ServiceM8
To copy an existing job’s details into a new job, follow these steps:
- Open the job you want to copy in ServiceM8’s Dispatch Board.
- Click the “Duplicate Job” button located in the top-right corner of the job details page.
- Select any optional information you want to include in the duplicate job, such as billing details, contacts, notes, or checklists.
- Once your selections are made, click the “Duplicate Job” button.
- Please allow about 20 seconds for the job information to be copied to the new job.
- Close the window once you see the message “Copy Complete.”
- Note: You may need to refresh your browser to see the new job in your job list.
The duplicated job will appear as the latest entry on your Dispatch Board, containing all the selected information, including any checklists from the original job.
